ANTOINE LYONEL CARRÉ

Dr. Carré, views his career in medicine as marrying his passion for science with his duty to his fellow human beings. Working with patients and families, he makes sure to listen carefully before offering any medical counsel, an approach grounded in his empathy for people who may be seeing him during a difficult time in their lives.

Dr. Carré received medical training at University of California San Francisco (UCSF), and completed a master’s degree in public health at the University of California Berkeley. He pursued residencies in general surgery at Stanford and at Harvard. Dr. Carré also served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, UCSF and Stanford. As a resident and fellow at the University of Southern California, he specialized in plastic surgery and microsurgery. Fluent in French, Dr. Carré enjoys hiking, biking and playing basketball, as well as reading and watching science fiction movies.
